Typography Project
What does this illustration mean to you?
I purposely put the words in a spiral so I could fit plenty of words in there. I did this because there is no single set of words that can describe. I feel as if I am a complex person, and this typography demonstrates that. I used words such as "intelligent" and "stressed" to describe my life at school. I have a heavy workload at school, and I have to seriously manage my time so that I won't fail. I've worked too hard and come too far to let that happen. |
Photoshop Project: Magazine CoverFor my project, I created a magazine cover using my sister as a model. The goal of it was simply to showcase her and attract attention. Whenever I went to group discussions about this, the main concern was the purpose of the cover being lost. As a result, I learned to try and keep things less cluttered, making my intentions clear.

College Flyer1. Why did you choose the college you did for your flyer?
I am going to Texas A&M in the fall, so it made sense that I made a flyer about the department I was going to be in 2. What did you learn about that college while you were making your flyer? Nothing. I know literally everything there is to know about the Viz department. 3. How did the peer review time benefit your own project? It made me realize small errors in my project that I previously didn't notice, maximizing the quality of my flyer 4. Was the teacher review time more beneficial that the peer review time? Why or why not? It was more beneficial to get critique from a teacher. She was a professional with more experience in the industry than my fellow students, so I valued her input more. 5. If you were going to make another college flyer, what would you do differently? I would probably feature a different educational department. Or maybe the financial aid section... |
